Superannuation “Choice” of Fund
More specifically, employers are faced with a new challenge as of July 1st, 2005, when superannuation “choice” will be available to about 5 million Australians in the workforce. At Austcover Corporate Super we have designed a strategy to assist our clients with a process which will ease the burden of this onerous task.

Our approach is to:

Determine where your business is placed in the new regulatory regime and advise you on what you are required to do
Identify which of your employees are affected by “choice”
Examine and review your existing Corporate SGC arrangements by completing a health check of your existing fund(s)
Identify how or if existing arrangements can be modified in order for you to comply
Where required ensure your Default Fund complies and is adequate for your employees’ needs
Assist with employee education and where appropriate the benefits of the current plan
Ensure your “choice” arrangements are ATO compliant and that you have systems to ensure ongoing compliance, assistance and technology to do so.
