The implementation and use of the online system enables us to create accounts for our respective clients and allows clients to control their existing portfolio.

Underwriting considerations

Austcover, in conjunction with Calliden Ltd, is pleased to offer Home Warranty Insurance specifically for Residential Home and Pool Builders. This involves a simplified Eligibility process and online self-issue of Project Certificates. Considerations which Calliden take into account through their Home Warranty application and approval process are:

• Builders length of time and experience in the pool building industry
• Record of claims or complaints relating to workmanship
• Builders ability to manage their business through the construction cycle, including the management of suppliers, subcontractors and customer expectations
• Ongoing profitability and solvency
• Current and past activity levels
• Current status with various regulatory bodies
• Whether the party applying, including directors partners or supervisors have been involved in any past insolvencies.
